Default jdm new key

hi, a customer needs a spare key & programming for his 06 jdm impreza , any advice on where to go without a rip off price ? thanks

Here`s a key, £17 delivered from the US, If you can find them over here they are twice the price.

Might be no good if you need the key with the chip in though

Don't think the key(being a JDM) will need programmed. I bought the above key, took it to a local lock smith and had it cut, job done!

Same here, It might have an alarm fitted and have a seperate key fob, If it has its possible to do it yourself depending on the alarm.

l took the key apart and it looks like an oblong chip on the left hand side .
he alredy tried local locksmiths

My my05 jdm has chip in key and factory immobiliser don't think spec c has it though. When you find best place post it up as I need a spare as well, dealers not to helpful as key is not like uk key as it has no alarm fob built in.
