Default Good Deal?

Its probably been tried and tested but I think this could possibly be a good deal depending how you look at it?

I'm 22 with a 00' Impreza sport 4WD with pleanty of N/A tuning, dont get me wrong the car is good for what it is but I'm looking to upgrade to turbo but the costs seem to go up almost 50%

Anyway, I got a quote on a 99' RB5 Turbo 2000 AWD....

Turns out @ a whopping £1818.71 annual

Is it worth it..?

Yes it's worth it if you can afford it.

Or you could look at it as £35 a week, so an extra £15 a week ish for a turbo with much better performance than your current sport.

TBH i'd be more worried about the fuel than the insurance because thats going to cripple you, once you become a boost junkie.

Suddenly I'm having a change of heart with all the mixed messages.

I can see why the premium is high, but I dont know if I want to folk out that kind of money before maintinance.

@ Matt Bristol - The car is notorious for being pinched in merseyside. It doesnt help I work in Toxteth.

Do trackers make a difference? Or are they for the parranoid insurer?.

admiral do a ten month bonus accelerator. you pay for 10 month and after 10 month you will get a years no claims.

it might help you marvins save a little cash

Chalk and Cheese. I'd sooner have a TDi than a Sport and you can be **** sure that i'd have a Turbo over a TDi if my commute would allow

It's not just the insurance that will cost you more, the general running of the thing is an awful lot more.

My personal view, no its not worth it. You'd be far better off getting a few more years experience and have a turbo when your a little older. I've been there, I had an evo at 19 and was paying £2500 a year. Looking back I must of been crazy !!!

To be fair, at your age its an awesome car although it will cost you a bit.
How many other your age have a high performance turbo car?
When i was your age i wouldve sold my left nut for a escort cosworth but the £6k insurance was silly, they were notorious for being stolen. £1800 is a decent deal in todays climate
