Which silicone intake pipe to go for
Im for upgrading my turbo here next week and was planning on changing the plastic pipe under the manifold for good measure (my last classic one was split i found out whislt changing)
Is any of the cheaper alternatives any good over samco? Ive seen ecplispe selling them on here etc but haven't heard any feed back on how they are.
Any info appreciated
Thanks

Just make sure you get a decent one, nothing worse than aborting a mapping session because the inlet is sucking shut!
I went for the perrin one here, expensive yes, but solid and does the job.

As above go for a decent make, perrin are excellent and do the job perfectly, samco i wouldnt recomend im affraid as my mate had major problems with 2 samco inlet hoses sucking shut under load and replaced with perrin to solve it,the guy selling the eclipe hoses says they dont suck shut as they have one on a car running big boost/power,but will he take it back and refund you if it does.

They also said they are doing a evan better one with wire reinforcement in for cars over 400bhp or normal bhp
i need one as mine is getting bad as i noticed when changing the turbo yesterday and was gonna get the ecplispe one ,
i have there water pipe kit and there 5ply seem thinker and harder than samco ones as they are only 3 ply
