Default Remote Locking / Alarm Fob (2008 wrx)

Hi there,

My alarm / locking fob (manufacturer fitted) has stopped working, which i assume is a dead battery. Is the battery something I can easily replace or do i need to take it to someone to be replaced? I have no subaru dealers near to me.

Sorry if this is a daft question, but dont want to start attempting to take it apart if i can avoid it.

Thanks in advance

you can change the battery in the key, but you need reprogram key to the keyless entry system.

do you have another working key still ??
