Just taken my type R key and put it against my Spec C key, the Spec C key is thicker, longer and wider than the type R key, that should solve your problem (or not
) now sell it to Gaz

Ryan, any good engineering company should be able to skim the excess metal off from the blank key blade to bring it down to the correct thickness, and then just get it cut to pattern.
