Default What does having a PPP add to a Bugeye's value?

Hi all,

As per the title, I'm trying to work out a figure to put my Scooby up for sale.

Funnily enough there's not many comparable vehicles for sale at the moment so using similar types has given me an idea of the base price.

When you think of what Prodrive charge for their upgrades it seems that adding a figure to the selling price is a tad difficult.

Any ideas?

imo it being a PPP is only a small part of the car its condition and service history is a much better indicator as to where to price ur car for todays market.

Good point. Mine ticks all the other boxes wrt to condition, mileage and service history. I've also done some further upgrades.

So I think I have a price in mind compared to non Prodrive cars, it's just the additional value added that I can't figure.

Nothing really on a 10 year old car.......stick an extra £50 on the sticker price. It's more of a haggling point really if the seller wants to offer less.

Is it a Bug STi or a Bug WRX ?

It's a 2001 '51 plate UK Bug WRX wagon in silver. New MOT and Tax 93,722 miles. Mods are:-

Bigger slotted discs all round
Pagit Pads
HEL brake lines, and
Up/down HIDs.

Plus FSH with a file full of paperwork.

I thought the Prodrive pack would command some premium, but it looks like I may have been optimistic.

Bug wagons are a bit harder to judge because of the rarity value and people are willing to pay more.......If it was a Bug WRX saloon then I'd put it up at £2400 and prepared to haggle hard....

I'd agree with that. No point boasting about a 10 year old exhaust! The benefit's only really the remap which you can get quite cheaply now anyway.

See now i disagree, but i would being the owner of a ppp wagon.

I'd say it's worth at least £200 more than a non ppp equivalent, there are still people out there that want the extra power under the bonnet and something that is recognised by insurance companies.

That said it was the AP4 pots that attracted me to my wagon along with the colour as opposed to the ppp.
