Default reverse camera

after upgrading my speakers last month , i fitted a new headunit and reversing camera.
i got a pioneer avic 930bt and pioneer reversing camera.
http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25...0BT/index.html
i didnt want the camera hanging down anywhere or noticeable so i came up with this.

removed the boot lock and put the camera in the hole.

Not the best move imho really as if your cancel clicks over on the latch or your cable breaks you will have to venture in through the back seat to enter the boot

Surely u don't need a camera and sensors to park? My wife isn't even that bad at parking

At that angle does it give a good picture of the edge of the bumper?

Looks neat but if you catch the latch and cancel the incar release your screwed, be a shame to destroy the camera

Good to do something different though

I love it Tommy, I need to add a camera when I get time as my WRC mirrors are a real pain.

Nice one

You got it with the heady it so might as well make use if it. Good idea too. Looks better than the boot lock IMHO. The mrs has no excuse to pranging when parking now either. Parking sensors and camera, s class Scooby. Lol

Tubby are you really that bad at parking? You've got parking sensors on your bumper, as well as the new camera!
