Default help asap

As above can someone help me asap please I'm trying to put timing belt back on my ej20 engine..I took my timing belt tensioner to work and put it in to a vice and placed a pin through it, I've got all pulleys lined up belt on then took out the pin on the tensioner, spun crank 360 and all pulley didn't line up there miles out, tried again but tensioner isn't giving me anougth belt to bring round ?? Help advice please, do I take the pin out once its timed up correctly ?

If all parts are aligned you take the pin out then turn the engine over by hand for one cambelt revolution. The belt should have been marked before you did this so you had a reset point to return to, to check. One crankshaft revolution wont bring the pulleys back in line, more is needed.

Am I doing it right once all lined up spin crank round once and the pulleys should all line back up ? Becouse mine don't line back up??

Spin crank round twice then check again

yep spin it twice iirc,, the crank turns more than the cams hence smaller pulley.

turn the crank another 360 and the pulleys will line up again, on the initial 360 they will be miles away but turn it 360 again and it will line up

Lol That is normal as engine work on a four cycle. To complete the cycle the engine has to turn 4 times to complete. When fitted a belt you have to turn your engine 4 times then make sure then they should line up.
If that makes any sense.
