Well just been out for a run for the first time since fitting it.
Readings were as follows -

Idle - Flickering between 13 and 14
Cruising - flickering between 14 and 15
Lift off throttle - drops to 11 and then flies up to 21.

Do these sound normal ?

Just thought the 21 seemed a little high to be honest.
I'm having one of those days where I think my car is gonna go wrong

I'm looking at the oil pressure gauge thinking its lower than normal and my fuel pressure seems low.

So your just a bit parranoid then mate lol, tbho as good as these's gauges are[and look lol] they can be a curse given anything slightly from the norm and it's worry worry
Just take a look at alot of the high powered card from the factory bud they don't come with gauges for this, that and the other.
Stop fretting and enjoy it mate,if she wants to let go she will regardless of gauges galore

Cold start 7 bar
Hot idle 2.8-3.0 bar
driving while hot around 6 bar

What about yours?

Seriously though mate it can completely take the enjoyment away from the car if you worry to much but I do understand where you coming from

Cold idle - 100psi (circa 7bar)
Hot idle - usually about 70psi (4.8bar) but tonight was 50psi (3.4bar)
Cruising - 90psi (6.2 bar)

Just seemed a little odd that it's dropped off a bit tonight.

Your hot idle[85-90'c] is 4,8 bar??
Are you sure about that Matt, that is without doubt to high fella!
3.4 is more like it mate
What does your car idle at,some mappers put it to 1K rpm to keep oil pressure up abit.

I know what you mean! The PSI3 can be a blessing and a curse! Always checking parameters etc!

That will explain it then, normal idle is 850 which is why some see[like yourself] higher readings.
Mine idles at 900.

Forgot to say Ryan,
The fuel pressure problem sorted itself out after a run. Holds the pressure now on ignition as it did before. Must of just been a bit of air in the system.

Gotta say though, tonight was the first time I've driven it for about 3 weeks and it didn't seem as fast as I remembered. Reckon I need more power

the 21 is when the injectors shut down at lift off, the readings should be somewhere between 11 and 12 with your foot hard down, mines 11.8-12, thats with 20%meth.

Sorry for the hijack, but still on topic.

Anyone got a link to an AFR explanation/chart, as it's an area i'd like to explore and get more information about, as i'm sure would many others, along with EGT readings, and what they should be and what they mean.

Jura, you da man, thank you, that explains why prodrive use a rich mixture and why the torque is so much better than my old specialist remapped WRX, cheers.

All depends on mappers and they how map the car, mostly people want more power than torque

EGT i would say,is more important if you are using ALS(Anti Lag) on standard car i wouldn't brother with EGT

Agree with you Jura on the AL, I believe temps over and above 900c can start to cause damage and this is easily done with anti-lag running, Not so easy to do on a normal turbo set up.
