For that money, as you said, you will have to settle for a pre 2003 STi or a WRX.

I don't pick it up till Saturday mate, the waiting is killing me I've seen your car parked in cradley. I used to drive past it daily when I worked and lived down that way, I didn't really get a good feel for the car on the test drive but the car felt very smooth and eager. I didn't really notice the lack of burble because of it having a rather quiet exhaust whereas my old type uk had a decatted nur spec r

I wasn't interested in a classic as wanted a decent gearbox and brakes and preferred the refinement of the newage car

Hopefully you will enjoy the jdm then, that seems a good price, all I have done to mine is exhaust and remap to uk spec fuel and have no need to do much else as they are very good as they are, would like a sportcat in the future with a map tweak but that's about it. Just keep your eye on the speedometer as they are deceptive due to smooth power delivery. Hope you enjoy it, Saturday will soon be here

Mine is already decatted and remapped to around 360bhp which will save me some money in the long run, I'm going to be taking it very easy for the first week or 2 as I will be bedding the brakes in as it's just had new discs and pads all round
