Car passed its test today, the tester said it should have failed on its side lights as they are inoperative on the first turn of the stalk. Weirdly they do work with the second turn along with the dipped beam.

Any ideas?

Strange, could be a wiring issue in the stalk I guess. Try your parking light switch and see if that works

If it "Should" of failed, but didnt, i wouldnt worry about it

What are they? HID's or something?

Standard bulbs. Everything else works as it should. Very strange.

Not strange . side lights only work with ign on . ign off then you use parking switch on top of colum !

My sides work on the first turn, but are ignition controlled, poss relay fault check fuses too mate
