have you tried the police , most probably a stolen car or a drink driver for not to have stopped

+1 and I also I take it ,that it was not driveable after the shunt or you would have given chase for sure .

i stopped as i thought he was going to,but he didnt did give chase but there where 3 cars in my way as there where bollards in my way,and by the time the cars moved out of the way he was already well up the road,i did boot it but there are 2 many side roads so didnt know what way he went, need to have the scoob checked underneath and my bumper needs sorting out big time, and he did hit my car hard pushed the bumper right in one side and it came out the other side dent on the bumper and it needs respraying as taken it right back to the black i was gutted,he must of been drunk or on something or just dont like scoobys i wasnt even racing as there where speed bumps and i had to slow down as my car is really low down

Gutted for you mate big time, its a real sickner.

Wish I could offer some helpful advice but apart from the police on the look out for a damaged grey Range Rover or contacting any repair garages in the area it's a tough one to track down.

It might be worth having a cruise around the area in the daytime in another motor,as you may get lucky and see it parked on the street or his drive, with some paint damage. Its worth a shot in the dark imho, nothing ventured - nothing gained

Why didn't you make a note of the registration number on it?

She's already said, because he didn't stop and made a run for it.

This is weird because the exact same happened to someone my Mrs knows last week... and she has a scoob. She needed a new boot lid though as well as bumper/exhaust. Never found the guy that hit her either.

As already said tho, probably drunk/stolen. Damage doesn't sound massively bad, could of been a lot worse I guess.. w***ers

Canvey's not that big - Id be out trying to find it. Even if the police find it, you'll still be screwed over no doubt.

Will ask everyone I know that lives over that way to keep an eye out too.

Gutted for you though!

Bloody hell,

Did you see the driver or was it tinted up?

I don’t know the area but it might be worth asking in places like petrol stations etc while it is still fresh in peoples minds – long shot though!

The police can find out how many of that type of vehicle in that colour are registered within that area and it may be far fewer than you think. The fact you have a partial reg will also help.
