Fitted a set to an evo 7 a couple of weeks back. More of a convenience thing more than anything having the control box in the car. Saves you getting out and tweaking the settings.

can you fit the box to any top adjustable coilovers?
i assume its just a motor that turns the adjuster.

Thinking about it you probably could retro fit them to another breed of coilover as they have the same insert which locates in the top to adjust them, Your quite right its just a motor screwed ontop of the coilover

Tein EDFC will not adjust vehicle ride height,EDFC is Electronic Damping Force Controller

For ride height I would have look for something like KW HLS or Airtech Air Suspension, which can allow you to do so

ahh these Tein EDFC's only adjust the dampening effect on the coil-over itself. It doesn't adjust the vehicle height unfortunately.

That KW kit looks good, but to be honest, if you've got the car at a ride height where you're regularly scraping speed humps etc it's probably too low and your handling and ride will be far from optimal. Scoobs don't really need anything more than a circa 30mm drop IMHO and at that reduction you shouldn't encounter many problems. I have BCs set at a conservative ride height and a car with a Prodrive front lip and it's only the occasional driveway that causes a problem.
