Opinions on this car
Gents just need your opinions on this car please. I've been advised by the knowledgable people on here to look for a JDM. I've found this one and I would appreciate your thoughts good or bad. Thank you.

Nice looking car, with very low milage for the year, which commands a small premium in my book,as well as it being a JDM but £9,250 is about £1,500 more than i would pay for an 03 car, after all it is 9yrs old not 5yrs old.
I'm not a fan of arty photo's that don't show the whole car properly, so i would contact the seller and ask for more, or go and view depending on how far away, as i'd hate to travel a couple of hundred miles to look at a shed, i'd also like to make sure it was hpi clear, and that he was prepared to be a little more realistic about his price before i set foot out the door.
Just remember it's a buyers market, and i suspect it will be around for a while at that price.
But hey, it's your money.

There is a fair bit of waffle in there but the car seems ok, dunno how it will have a top speed of 160mph if its still in km as they need to derestrict it when they put the converter in, which then brings into question the mileage, is it actually miles or km with the restricter?
Also as said, its far too much, 8k max but look at 7.5k as what it should be selling for.

Butr overall I do like the car and would like a JDM. On a side note, what are the service intervals on these cars? Thanks for the input lads.

You can question the tax bracket as its a 2003 car, they will reband it for you
Service intervals are 10000km or roughly 7.5k miles (6 monthly), whichever is first, though if you dont do the miles, even my garage says 1 year to me, though I still get the oil changed every 6 months

I'm coming from an evo so I'm use to the short service intervals. 7.5k dosen't seem too bad. Take your point on the oil changes though.

Yeah its a little weird, if the car was new and not registered on march 23rd 06, then yes you get hit with the higher tax bracket as this is when the Euro regs changed from 3-4, but this car has a model report for a euro 3, which means it doesnt have a CO2 bracket issued on it, so they cannot charge you for it
They made a small error taxing people when there is no CO2 value given.... hence you can get it changed.
