Default Remap Northeast England

Due to my exhaust falling to pieces I have fitted a new 3" exhaust with sports cat. To keep things right I want to get the car remapped. What are my options on the standard ecu? Do I have to go Ecu tek or is there another solution? I'm not looking for extrta horsepower, just don't want to melt the engine.

Any suggestions would be great,.

I think your car will be fine with no remap, you will have to travel if you want your car done or get someone to travel to you.

I have read a lot on here about cars going bang when not being remapped after minor modifications. The cars a 2001 JDM STI,standard exhaust changed to 3" with sports cat.

If its a JDM twin scroll I would get it mapped not for sfety as the car will be fine but just for the extra power that turbo can give

Pre twin scroll unfortunately. I'm not totally against more power, if its switchable, just looking to maintane reliability.
