Remap Northeast England

Due to my exhaust falling to pieces I have fitted a new 3" exhaust with sports cat. To keep things right I want to get the car remapped. What are my options on the standard ecu? Do I have to go Ecu tek or is there another solution? I'm not looking for extrta horsepower, just don't want to melt the engine.

Any suggestions would be great,:).

I think your car will be fine with no remap, you will have to travel if you want your car done or get someone to travel to you.

I have read a lot on here about cars going bang when not being remapped after minor modifications. The cars a 2001 JDM STI,standard exhaust changed to 3" with sports cat.

If its a JDM twin scroll I would get it mapped not for sfety as the car will be fine but just for the extra power that turbo can give ;)

Pre twin scroll unfortunately. I'm not totally against more power, if its switchable, just looking to maintane reliability.
