No no buddy, don't need any paintwork doing.
I'm asking if he sprays cars often as I know just how difficult it is. Unless you have a proper spray booth and equipment you will NEVER get a spot on finish.

You've done loads of body kits ??? You've never sprayed a car then ?
Trust me, if you want the car spraying then take it to a bodyshop.
Have you got a spray booth, compressor, proper spraying equipment, paint mixer etc etc.

Colour changing a car is asking for trouble and it will ALWAYS devalue the car.
Stick to the Silver. If your mate can remove all the dings and damage and do a proper job then it will look a lot better anyway.
If you want a blue one, then sell it afterwards and buy a blue one.
I would say that, as mine's silver too.
