Cool

This was emailed to me today from a freind,
This is worth a read and definitley worth using if it does work.
I work in the speeding fine department in Swindons Magistrates Court and in the course of my investigation into "fines, their payment methods and how points are automatically added to against drivers licences" we discovered something very interesting"If you get a speeding fine".This has been tried and it woks... i tried to send this to everyone I know.I know for a fact it works so if you ever get in this situation, you have an out.We discovered that this procedure works nationwide.Read it try it, you have nothing to lose but the points on your license. This is how it works.
If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may be, and you are going to get points on your license, then there is a method to ensuure you DO NOT get any points. When you get your fine, send in the cheque to pay for it and if say the the fine is £40,then make the cheque out for 41 or some small amount over the fine. the system will then have to send you back a cheque for the difference, but here is the trick!
"DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHEQUE"
Throw it away!! Points are not allocated to your license until all financial transactions are complete. If you do not cash the cheque, then the transactions are NOT complete. However, the system has gotten its money and is happy and will not bother you anymore. This information came to our attention from a very reliable computer company that sets up the standard database used by each countys computing system.Good luck and share this with all your freinds and other family members as well!!!
HAPPY MOTORING!

I don't want to appear rude but does nobody read other threads on this BBS? only this must be the 4th or 5th time I have read this on this board and it is still not correct.

If you can't beat them, then join 'em.

If a GATSO (or Truvelo) takes your photograph, the REMOVE the Gatso camera before the film can be collected.

If the camera is a SPECS or some other similar digital camera, then evidence will already be collected - so REMOVE THE ROAD!!! Picture the scene in court - Mr Aardvark was driving at 95mph on the A876 - BUT THERE IS NO A876!!!!

Sorry -
set mode=muppet
set limbs=restrained

mb?

Dude, thanks anyway, but like wurzel says, this has come up in the general forum about 3 times this week! It is a con. If you have lots of time on your hands, sift through the last 5-10 days in the general section.

Sorry,

Nick

Better still

If you get caught you say that the person driving at the time was Mr X from another part of the EU. Useful to have an actual name and address. The police cannot do anything as obviously they cant prosecute outside the UK - and are'nt Gatso's illegal anyway elsewhere in the EU under the Human Rights Act - something that was recently got around in the UK recently!

Another handy hint..
The way to beat Gatsos is to ensure you are travelling in excess of 220 mph - the second flash will not catch you at this speed.

Urban myth - you'd have to be travelling at X+ to have the first picture taken & then be out of shot for the second = GUILTY!

(X= max speed at which 2 pics are taken & able to catch vehicle in both pics)

Addendum to option 3.
Try to avoid royal family jobs. Particularly anything titled "queens sister"

p.s. When Princess Anne got done you would have thought the Queen would have put in a good word for her. If my sister got nabbed speeding on MY highway I would certainly try and get it quashed

I've seen this in several forms, the version above is merely a rewording of an American version from a few years ago.

Why is it that people believe spam? which is what this is.

Have a look at

any email you get which includes words to the effect of:

"share this with all your freinds and other family members as well!!!"

is virtually guaranteed to be spam, just intended to clog up all the email servers on the internet. As someone who has had to purchase and administer mail servers, please don't add to the problem!

Lightbulb

If this does work, what happens to your driving licence, this is usually sent along with the fine for the DVLA to put points onto it, Do they return it without points ?!?"?"??
