Default Which fuel?

Standard '01 bugeye wrx...says 'super gasoline' on filler cap, but in owners book says 95 ron

So.....is 95 ron (normal) ok or should i stick with the 97 ron (super)

I would say use super unleaded to be on the safe side. If you raise the power I would only use tesco momentum or shell v power.

If its a uk car mate its mapped for 95 ron and your just wasting your money, in Japan their standard fuel is 100 ron thats why you fill them with super as they are mapped for it and if you don't use it you will get det and eventually knacker your engine. SObasically 95 is ok 99 is overkill.

You will benefit from using a higher octane fuel in a UK car, it will run smoother and you will gain a little in performance and economy, it sort of evens itself out cost wise (better mpg v £££ per ltr) but if you are stuck for 97+ you can just shove 95 in.

You're wasting your money, especially at current price differences.
