What is the weight of the standard 2006 STI 17" rim?

What is the weight of the Forged BBS 17" rims?

Can anyone suggest some other lightweight 17" rims?

Rays Volks would be my recommendation, their wheels are feather light especially the forged magensium wheels that they produce.

BBS are ten a penny.

Dont know if it helps or not, but i have two wheel weights

inovite 7x17" redline - 9kg
Rota force 8x17" - 7.5kg

No one ever weighed the standard wheels?

anything under 7kg seems to be pretty damn light for an 8 x 17

I can't see a weight for my Volk CE28N's 17x8 except for the time attack version and they are shown at 6.804 kgs, certainly lighter than the equivalent Subaru MY BBS fat boy wheels which are around 7.257 kgs in 17x7 form.

According to that, the BBS forgies aren't actually that light: 8.7kg in 17x8.

If that's the case, why all the fuss?
