looks nice fella, coilovers improve the stance loads on standard cars, the suspension is far too high.
whats your plans for it if any?

Hey tubbytommy thanks for looking, yeah i totally ageee it looks like a monster truck at the minute To be honest i'm a bit skint at present but future mods will be full exhaust, remap and change the discs and pads as compared to my Z4 that i had are bobbins!

Hi mate. No comparison really fella, only thing i'm missing are standard brakes. Had mine checked and all fine but they just feel crap compared to BM. Not really any bite but hey apart from that i wish i'd got one years ago. The view over the scoop makes me smile every time i drive it Obviously its a bit more thirsty too but well worth it. Just trying to save up for mods now. Really fancy lip spoiler and flaps!

try changing the pads mate that could be the problem.
what do you mean by lip spoiler? a splitter under front bumper??

OK thanks, sound advice. Yes i was thinking maybe HT Auto's splitter. They seem popular and fairly affordable.

yes good mod, i dont want to hijack your thread with pics but i have coilovers and splitter fitted to mine and it does improve the looks and stance of the car no end.

only advice i can offer on a splitter though is they get damaged easily if your not careful

Surprised that the brembos r not performing as they should do, as sed b4 it can only b the pads, does it get better as the brakes heat up?

Nice STI, is it silver? (colours often look lighter on my iphone)
I've an HT Autos splitter on my Hawk, if I had it lowered it would scrape on bumps and kerbs, (it only just clears some now!) It would look better but not be as practical.

Hi mate yes you are right the brake feel does improve as they warm up but i have to really push hard for them to bite from cold. Thankfully i'm quite a steady driver so don't push on until engine is fully warmed.

Thanks very much Flaps yes my car is silver. Thinking if i decide on mudflaps too then black would suit mine best. Scoobyworld ones also look decent and pink writing will complement Type UK badge

The wheels have been sprayed dark and windows tinted on my silver Hawk, I think that works well, i've some pics in the 'garage' if you're interested and ever fancy a subtle change
