Default What Car

Hi,i am a newbie here and would like some advice on
what Scooby to buy.Don't shoot me down but i have
been an RS guy for the last 20 years .I still love the RS
but fancy a change.I want a daily drive with the option to
get 250/300 BHP.I have been looking at Two 07 WRX with
25K on the clock with FSH for around 8K but people are telling
me to go for the STI model.I have a budget of 10K.
Love the P1's.I love 2 door cars but but it has to be a daily drive.
Please any help would be appreciated.

I thought it may get more veiws in this area as i had put
this post in the General Technical anyway thanks for the
people who replied.

Cheers.

Hi Welcome to the forum

For 8-10k the best car for your money would be a jdm blob/hawk sti. If you dont buy an STI now a year down the road youll wish you had. They are better than the uk car better stronger engines just abit rarer and will take abit longer to find one.

easiest way to put it is this would you have settled for an ST if you could have had an RS?

now substitute WRX and STI both very good cars have had both newage the WRX was

softer on the daily drive but my STI is also my daily drive and more fun

As above
You'll kick yourself for buying a wrx 6 months down the line and 5k later on mods

Just been looking in the cars for sale section. Can anyone point
me in the right direction ???.I like the look of the UK300 motor.I like
the older school cars, but do i need to look out for anything ?.I.E
are parts easy to get,any down falls, can you Mod ?. Any other cars
on site you could recommend. It will be a daily drive.
I am getting that the STI is the one most of you would go for.
Iv'e done the 300+ bhp etc just want some thing a can live
with day to day.Don't care if it is a 5K car or a 15K car.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
