Default Teng Tools

Hi, i,m in the market for a new socket set and like the look of this set,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Teng-Tool-...item336b68066f
Just fancy a quality set but can,t justify Snap On prices. Anyone used Teng and would you reccomend?

I have a teng tool Chest and a few bits, very good IMO. They don't get used day in day out but never had an issue. For us mortals who can't afford snap on id say teng is a close runner up. You can't mistake teng tool chest with those big yellow eyes not just your plain old red box.

For that money I'd go for facom socket sets, their ratchets are nice and fine. The 1/2" set is a superb bargain at the moment. I've got lots of tools and do like my snap on stuff but the facom ratchets are good value, I've got their flexi ones too. I'd always prefered them to snap on because the snap on ones were really clunky. Snap on have brought out their 80 series not so long ago which are very fine and I'm swapping over to them now, the long handle flexi head 1/2" is awesome.

Facom sets..

Another vote for halfords pro range, i remember being told they are made by britool, if my halfords stuff lasts as long as the britool stuff i was given years ago (originally bought in the 80's) i will be happy with that

I've always used Britool spanners and Beta sockets:
