Unloved bug WRX, no STi engine, no Brembo's, no six speed, no blue interior........ etc. too expensive in today's marketplace IMHO

Link Works......looks like standard Bug WRX with magnex 6X4 exhaust and replica spoiler...Some people like black and is a selling point.
People have tried to sell their Bug WRX's on here for £2000 and failed.....
Mind you the dealer has to take his slice.
If it's what you want then it's worth as much as you are prepared to pay for it at the end of the day.

Basically I've just sold my 330ci m sport and after paying for a holiday I have 3,500 cash left.
I've done Beemers with the 330 and I had an m3 evo so now I wanted a car that's a bit of fun and thought I'd try a scooby.
I will admit, it was a case of typing into autotrader spur of the moment Subaru and max price 3,500 grand.
Im open to suggestions but I don't want to spend out much more than that because insurance is looking around the grand mark as well

Stick up to £4500 in to Autotrader and you may even find a bugeye STi for that money, then bargain them down to £3500. Sounds crazy, but believe me people are quite desperate to get rid of motors. You just gotta find the ones that will.
My little brother just picked up an Audi A6 Avant, 2.0, 80K miles, Auto, in excellent condition for £1500. It was originally up for £2500. Don't forget eBay, as there are some bargains to be had there. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the negotiater.

^^ Good advice above. Scooby's just aren't selling well, especially wrx's at the moment, (ask me, I know!!) and everyone is either looking for an sti or major modded wrx.
You might pay more for insurance on an sti but when it comes to selling there will be more buyers for you

I paid 4k for my 2001 bug a few months ago. Although it's a ltd edition uk300 and they do fetch alot more. Seen up for over 5k with the same mileage.
It's only worth as much as your willing to pay imo. If it's totally mint inside/out then it ain't too bad. If it's shabby just look around and one will come up.
It's a buyers market!!
