hi all , can anyone tell me what a 3 port boost solenoid actually does ? and what benefits can i get from fitting one to my 2002 wrx ?

i'm a newbie and just got myself a 3 port, from what i think it is, its for when it goes for mapping it hold boost far better than the standard 2 ports

i've brought one for when it goes for mapping in a few months time

They give the mapper more options in terms of boost.

P/s you will need a remap after fitting one.

You don't need now,you are made good power,this can help just mapper to map finer with 3-port

Everything OK Dave,now on 452bhp on V-Power and 24th we are going for next mapping on Methanol and NOS and hopping for 500bhp


Looking like we are going there on meet to the Ace Cafe if everything will be OK and mainly if my brother will be have day off
