Default 2004 WRX to 2009 WRX-STI 330S

Hi All,

I currently run a 2004 Impreza WRX with a Stage 1 tune and 18" Ultralites, otherwise standard.

I'm thinking about buying a 2009 WRX-STI 330S, standard car.

I'm looking for a bit more performance, less noise, more refinement and a better ride.

Will the 330s give me what i'm looking for?

Is it a real step forward?

Cheers,

Phil.

Hello mate, one of my friends has had a 330s for over a year now,and I've gotta admit that at first I didn't like the shape of the hatch. After I saw his though,it really is a nice car.The interior and seats are really nice and it is a quick car.
When he bought it the engine had just been rebuilt after it had ring land failure so he got it for a reasonable price.
If you test drive one I'm sure you'll like it.
It's worth reading up a bit on the ring land failure so you know what to lookout for but I'm sure someone on here will be along that can advise you on what to check for.

Danny.

The hatch is certainly grower, when they first come out i hated them but now i think they are lush! Especially the Cosworth Sti which in my opinion is the second best looking scoob after a P1

Hatch is the best I've had yet, saying that this is only my second one.

Hmmm, I'm not sure the £50k price tage for an extra 75bhp over a 330s is worth the money IMO. It doesn't even have keyless start and a Sat/Nav/DVD player in it.

saw this the other week..... #1

looks so crap with the nice gloss black trim and then the vents and internal door handle part still the OE grey

very poor for a 50K car

should also have been kitted out with the sportster CS recaro front seats which matc perfect - like drumsterphil did to his
