Just got a good deal on some lifting kit at halfords thought i would share it as i think it is essential kit for tight budget DIY mechanics (like myself).

7 piece lifting kit contains:
2 tonne trolly jack
2x 2 tonne axle stands
pair of wheel chocks
under car creeper
foot pump
Tyre pressure gauge
4 size wheel wrench.

I paid £47.99 with trade card or £59.99 on the shelf.

You should be able to find someone with a trade card they arent hard to obtain
