i converted my 04 sti interior to facelift version it was plug and play electrics wise but required swapping the handbrake lever but it was easy enough. needed a couple of brackets behind the heater controls and the radio bracket is also different.
also had to rewire the mirror switch to the door panels.

before

after

the main part you need to get behind the dash is a large h shape bracket, this is what everything bolts too.
Also the handbrake lever as it wont fit in the new centre console, then everything bolts straight on the electrical connections behind the panel plugged straight in but i have an 04 sti.
you will then need to extend the wire from the mirror switch into the drivers door where it is located on the facelift models.

this part requires new door panels too. alternatively you could fit the mirror somewhere on the new console but i wanted the job done to oem spec.

i would suggest going to a breakers and taking the stuff out yourself so you make sure you have all the screws and brackets as these can turn out costly from the dealers.

make sure you get radio brackets too as these are different, that caught me out and cost me £20 at the dealers
