Default valve in down pipe help please

hello i have been told by a friend i can get a valve that will go in my down pipe to make it sound more like a rally car whether this is true or not can i have some help on what they are called and where to get one

Yep, they connect the exhaust through the cabin to make it louder. Great bit of kit the screamer!

ive put one of them wistler kits on the mrs ka and i kid you not its sounds like a cossie now.

I think your friend is talking more along the lines of an electric cut out. Gains to be had when it's mapped in but bound to get you into trouble too

Think the OP is talking about the exhaust whistlers that make the DV noise.

Iff you take a whistle off an old style kettle and push it into your backbox via the tailpipe it will give you the sound you after, rally car esque. Good luck....
