Default Scoobyworld service!

Very pleased with the service I've just received from Scoobyworld! Ordered a set of mudflaps for the winter months on Friday. That evening they sent me email confirming they have received it, then over the weekend and Monday I received an email confirming processing then another dispatching then a further email confirming delivery day which was Today! Best comunication I've had from a Internet order yet! Cheers!

I've used them for every scooby online order and they've always been good.
Still waiting on some footage of their rc cars though !! Ha ha.

Not put them on yet mate but looks easy enough, you get a set of instructions with them anyway if you get stuck!

Not bad mate, it's obviously a wheel off job, once you get your head around doing one the others go on easy enough. My mate who helped me fit them used slightly bigger self tappers on the front flaps as we thought the ones provided could quite easily fail after time. Also we had a plastic trim puller tool which made life a lot easier so I recommend getting your hands on one of those!

I got the standard set mate, the premium ones are stiffer which are great for rallying but not practical for road use, if you ever have to mount a kerb to park they will catch the kerb and cause stress on the fixings

doh, i went for the premium ones as i was afraid the standard set would end up (excuse the pun) flapping about after time. didn't think about the kerb thing.

hope i dont end up with clearance/rubbing issues with my 18's.

well okay, no more mounting the kerb

I'm sure they will be ok as long as you make sure the fixings are 100%. I was going to do a "how to" guide on hear but didn't have my camera on me as the instructions provided make your head hurt!

Word of advice, scrap the instructions, as the ones scooby world send out are crap (They were the ones they sent me, they may have updated them 2 years later). You dont need to take the wheels off, just turn them on full lock to gain enough room to drill the holes and fit the brackets etc.

hmm you got me doubting myself now! i might call them up today, chase the progress of my order and change to the standard mud flaps if they've still not shipped out my flaps.

surely i've got to take off the back wheels to fit those?

Yea deffinately, I tried doing at first with the wheels on and it was a pain, plus I couldn't get my cordless drill in to drill out the pilot holes for the self tappers, so I would recommend taking the wheels off, plus you can kill two birds with one stone by cleaning out the inside of your alloys!

turns out the mounting brackets/bolts are what they're waiting stock of. i did send them an email asking to be switched to the standard mudflaps but in two minds again.

clearly i'm not going to be mounting kerbs so maybe i should stick with the premium ones. gah, going to sleep on it!
