What backbox will fit onto a Miltek system.
I fancy a little more noise so was wondering if anyone has fitted a different make backbox onto their Miltek system.
I know the Miltek system is in three peices and has unusual length sections but there must be a few that will fit?
I believe that an afterburner/ H&S jap style bb will fit but how about a nur spec s etc?
Any help will be appreciated.

I was in the exact same position earlier this year..
I ended up buying a complete different system and selling my Miltek. As you say, Miltek use odd length pipe work so other makes won't match up. I even rang Miltek to ask the question and they confirmed my suspicions.

They told me its so people can't interchange their exhausts with other cheaper items.
If you want Miltek you gotta buy the whole thing which is big bucks.
I ended up buying a full 3" de-cat tornado system from scoobyparts, it suits me perfectly. Lovely sound, louder than a Miltek without being over the top and doesn't drone at speed.
I sold the Miltek which covered more than half the cost of the new one.

I don't want to buy a whole new system as I don't have the money or time to do it plus I want to keep my sports cat.
I have been offered a nur spec s and a h&s jap angled bb so had my fingers crossed. Oh well back to the drawing board.

If it's anything like the Spec R you'll be screwed - it's all or nothing
You could get any back box you want and use the welder listed in my signature block to sort out the flanges or go to someone like H&S and get them to make you up a custom back-box to go with the Milltek centre.
Best option is to line the car up along side another and compare the fitments

The Miltek downpipe is longer than other makes of downpipes. I can't remember if the centre is shorter to accommodate normal fit backbox or if the Miltek centre is normal length and the back box pipe work is shorter.
I needed to replace my Miltek centre so I had to replace the whole lot.
As above, park it next to another car and compare the systems. Worst ways, a specialist could make another back box fit with a little bit of welding.

I think I will have a think about it and look into it a bit more in the new year.
