I was thinking between the walbro and HRC fuel pumps after a bit of reading decided on the HRC does anyone think I made the wrong choice or has anyone any bad experiences with the HRC pumps

I ditched my walbro because it started failing whilst we were mapping the car, to be fair we were probably asking a bit much of a 255 though.

Which pump have you gone for now then mate? Heard the walbros failing a little which is why I opted for the HRC plus it looks good value for money lol. Hoping to get the pops an bangs mapped in too really can't wait ha

I was told told the STI doesn't have an up-pipe cat, unless that was just the blobs.

Are you getting a garage to fit the up pipe and down pipe? If so, how much are they charging? I need to get mine fitted before a remap so just curious

HI mate remapped and it's awsome!!! Complete different drive so must thank rick@taylor motors and Andrew Carr who's special at his work. HRC seems all good mate had bo problem touch wood lol. The drive now is how it should have been.

Had decat downpipe, decat up pipe,3 port, HRC 255 fitted. Andy did a switchable map for me and estimated the economy map to be 220bhp/220torque which I can switch to 270/280.
Had a few pops n bangs mapped in too. All in all an enjoyable experience and a better car after it. When you getting yours done mate and what car you got?

Got my downpipe and 3 port on order, order my pump next then give duncan racedynamix a call.
Ive had the car 4 yrs but its been my daily commute until recently, now its just my toy so i'm gonna play with it!
Oh yeh its an 02 STI bug, blue tho much prefer black after looking at ur pics.

Duncan remapped mines last week I am now running something near 350/330 (maybe a little bit more) but I want to get it on the rollers for sure. He went away pleased with the results and said he rarely sees blobs with my upgrades producing figures like this. I'm well chuffed! Cheers Duncan.

Think I've got scooby syndrome, this is coming from a guy who has always said he wants to keep it standand. Glad I didn't best decision I've made.
