item not as described dispute should sort it. Should give you the option to return it for a refund wether the seller likes it or not

in the dispute the seller has 3 options.

accept the return and refund including postage
refund the item and a return is not required
do nothing and let paypal resolve the claim.

Either way, the funds are already frozen in their account so you'll get it back one way or another. Just remember to return it recorded.

Sell it on mate, as long as you make people aware that its not a real one, it's still going to get you a few quid back. I'd hazard a guess that it'll be no worse then many cheaper guages available on the market.

Does look like a fake according to that site.

But don't do ANYTHING with it until Paypal make up their minds what THEY want you to do.

Paypal now want a letter from my garage saying gauges are counterfeit. Then they will send a form for item to be demolished then get my money back. Been told if I send back I will get in trouble.
The guy has different email add for eBay and Paypal and has 2 I'ds on eBay. Which includes a shop and also has a website that shows he sells defi stuff. And he said he knows nothing about car stuff lol

It's definitely worth reporting the guy to you're local trading standards office too!

If you're after genuine Defi gauges or spares then drop me a PM, we're one of their official dealers here in the UK

It'll probably still work better and be more reliable than a Prosport gauge!

My sons in his EVO and his G/F's in her Fiesta ST have been problematical plus there's regular postings on here about them, although I'm sure there are some who are quite pleased.
Can't beat good old direct reading gauges!

Since found out he has another Id on eBay. Well when I got gauge he had his id and email then on Paypal it was different email. Google dif one and he has shop on eBay. Funny thing is all his items have disappeared. Would eBay have done this? racersworld2011 is shop id.
Also been reported to trading standards. Phone won't allow me to copy link to original ad at mo.

Not any more, but the older generation had either a white or black face that was illuminated green, they were the Defi Link Meter series.
