Hi Jamie

Full service history.
Noisy rear shocks.

Is it standard?

See how the previous owner treats it. Does he warm it up, does he push it to much when he goes on a test run.

Don't forget to check for rust on the rear arches.

Buy it! And buy it now!
It won't be there for long at that price. If I had not bought mine 3 to 4 months ago I would have that for sure.

Usual stuff really:

Any white smoke out of the exhaust on start up / under load.
Check the oil - does it look fresh
Check the coolant - any oil in it.
Check engine bay for oil leaks especially round the rocker covers.
Is the engine quiet - no rattles or knocks.
Bodywork - look for accident damage.
Noisy shock absorbers
Decent tyres, same make and similar tread depth on each axle. Cheap and nasty tyres usually a sign of an owner who doesn't care too much.
Unmodified or sensible mods.
Full service history.
Old MoT certs to verify mileage.
Do an HPI check.
etc etc.

It looks a bargain, but well done for checking the other posts. Two posts above are the usual things. I know about visual checks but as I'd only ever driven 2 of these cars and before spending thousands on a new pride and joy, I used these chaps

DEKRA- https://www.dekra-expert.co.uk/

They were cheaper than on the website. A guy who knew what he was talking about and they send you a report. I managed to bargain the amount of the inspection off the sale.

However if you are a bit more tech savvy than me (this is likely) then you may be happy to do a lot of the checks yourself.
