Last spoke to Mike Woods at Cross Roads meet and it was still being tested/ratified.
Package "will" consist of replacement back boxes and down pipe/2nd cat replacement changes.
This seems to be the trend.............
Even Tony (T5NYW) has gone this route.

Posted by Proven Subaru today on Surrey Scoobies so it's now "out there"................
Just wondering if SP gave me the 340map as the figures are uncannily similar.
The 2011MY WRX STI 340R Performance Package has been designed to deliver class leading performance, boosting torque by over 20 percent and extending its availability across a wider rev range than the standard engine.
Designed to accentuate the characterful "boxer" sound the brushed stainless steel silencers have been carefully developed to reduce back-pressure but still comply with the relevant noise legislation.
Combined with a recalibrated engine management system, the package boosts peak power to 340ps at 5,400rpm (previously 300ps at 6,000rpm on the standard engine) and delivers an impressive 490Nm of torque at 3,600rpm, an improvement of 20 percent on the maximum torque of the standard car, 0-62mph in just 4.7 sec (est).
With the performance package fitted, the WRX STI has more torque than the peak of the standard road car from 3,000rpm, right through to 5,500 rpm. These impressive statistics ensure that drivers have the responsiveness required for performance driving, including all-important mid-range overtaking.
The pack is available for both 4 and 5 door 11MY WRX STI vehicles.

As per my post above, info from Proven Motors a Subaru dealer in Surrey.
A graph and price list was also posted but a bit of a problem at mo with the links.
A pair of back boxes are priced at £750 inc VAT on Pro-R website

Would think a Subaru UK backed power upgrade was a pretty good bet to cover all bases.

ohh err...
This poll on Nabisco doesn't exactly show they are popping like mad

Is in fact 'popping like mad'...
Tbh I reckon the figures between 10 - 20 % and thats still nearly one in five...

That's still only 6 of 16 who voted. Just looking through the threads/posts on Nasioc relating to just 2011 STi's, there are far more than 16 on the road in the US.
If there was a major problem in the States then I think far more of the failures would have voted. As always you only hear of the problems not the satisfied customers.

Some truth in this Don but by the same rule not all that fail find there way on to the forums.
You must also take into account how many 08> owners have cars that have not suffered failure but constantly fear it. However it is dressed up it just is not good enough on £25000 + cars.

The "original" problem with UK/EDM cars "appears" to have been the fuel map being too lean at WOT.???
The "fix" seems to be to run slightly richer in these conditions, which appears to be born out by the 320R/340R remap plots I posted elsewhere. (AFR in the region of 10.2)
In the US they tend to go overboard on most things and probably run extra lean, so its not surprising that a few have gone bang.
The Cobb Access Port Stage 2 includes a 3" sports cat downpipe and full 3" freeflow exhaust.

Just has email from crossroads Subaru that the 340 pack is now available.
It consists of a Scopion exhaust and remap. Cost is £995 and IIRC Full Subaru warranty cover.
