Default Massive Thanks To Simon (Jolly Green Monster)

Mapped my 03 sti on syvecs with one of the clinics SC46. All I can say is wow. the car pulls in every gear and will be an outstanding daily driver. Also heads up to anyone thinking of one of these turbos, the sound on gear change alone is worth every penny.

it was road mapped, Simon reckoned between 420-430 but we mapped it super safe at 1.6 bar. 2.1 stroker in future so will crank that up to 2 bar with a dash of meth for future.

But believe me, the car flies.

No problem Steve, nice car. Did another sc46 today on a 2.3 at 1.5bar on 97rom it made 414bhp and 416lb. 99ron would have been happier to run more boost

Problem with 20g L&G is there are so many fakes about.

We have run SC46 on both ported headers and matched uppipe and tubular 3 bolt headers with the special uppipe. The car goes OK with ported headers and matched uppipe but it goes that much better with tubular headers and the trick 3 bolt uppipe but this is a much more expensive option. Email me if you want prices. harveysmith1btopenworld.com
The trick 3 bolt uppipe makes a big difference in spool and respnse.

How much RPM of a difference would it make with your up-pipe & the MD321T on a JDM newage?

Comparing the GT2 tubular headers with the supplied uppipe against the same headers with my trick 3 bolt uppipe, the boost point typically improves 250-500 rpm. Every car is different for a number of reasons but there is a clear improvement. The 500 rpm figure has come from several customers. 250 is a minimum but I would be disappointed if we didn't make a 350 rpm improvement.
How we measure this is that we select a piece of flat road where we can run in both directions. Start in 4th gear at 1500 rpm each time and clock the point at which you achieve 1 bar in 4th, foot flat on the floor. You will have to do this several times in each direction until the boost point stabilises. You will notice that it reduces progressively as heat gets in to the exhaust and turbo until it reaches a point where it will not improve further. (This is a good reason for wrapping headers, uppipe and turbo exhaust).
While we were coming to the end of the development of the trick uppipe the improvements we were getting were so significant that at first I thought we had fluke results but these are now the norm.
