Default parallel fuel rails, should i use oem pipe or not

i understand that quip looks pretty ect ect ect but im actually thinking of keeping the engine bay neat and the fuel pipes for the OEM are quite nicely hidden away or am i thinking about this the wrong way

even if i reroute them and then "hide" them under the manifold its alot easier to do with small metal pipes but would i loose "flow" with the standard size pipes ?

also where is the best place to pick up V3 fuel rails from as ill need another set to do the job im guessing

Question is why do you want to do this? Power of car, application etc etc

power tbh will never be over 500bhp and if im honest 450 will be more than enough

ive been looking at the fuel set ups and it makes it very cramped in the engine bay and the extra cost of the fittings that just get scratched up ect ect ect

if i can get no real difference with standard metal pipes is the same sort of location as normal with a fuel presure reg on the side of the manifold it might look a bit neater and tbh ALOT CHEEPER which isnt a main concern really just im not that big a fan of the quip red and blue fittings and pirtek was hopless when i was asking them for fitting advice ( was told look in the catalogue and give him part numbers)

if i can fit fittings on the pipes ill be getting it sorted and alot more tidy to me anyway

I got the rails fitted as running 470bhp on stock STI engine and wanted the extra protection against leaning. Also fitted fuel lab FPR and billet filter and swirl pot / bosch 044. The later parts were project creep...

i got a swirl pot coming and i already have a 044 pump so i just need injectors and decide if i need to spend 300 quid on billet fuel rail and hoses ect or just use the oem rails and jig the lines around and a uprated fuel regulator whoch will be alot neater

I think API jig the lines on the standard rails for those who want to save a few quid, so should work.
