Dear all
thank you so much for all your kind comments.
Im ok about it all to be honest, as everybody has said, its only a hunk of metal at the end of the day no matter how much you enjoy it.
I have loved the scooby and there has been many people on this forum that have taken the time and effort to help me while ive been an owner.
Will I get another one, right now Im swaying towards maybe not, I need it as a daily driver and as we all know its not the most practical of things.
I have had incredible fun in it, my daughter is safe and sound and I have been to the docs today and she has confirmed that I am not dead.
Got to take it easy for a few days, as it seems that ive got a health dose of muscle/seat belt bruising and go back and see her in a week. Nothing terribly alarming and I dont have to go for X-rays or anything at this stage.
The garage has been today and advised that she will definately be written off.
Once again, thank you for your support, kind words and just general supportiveness.
Regards

Hope you and the little one are both OK
I know the feeling though, my car was written off a year ago (final stages of the PI claim going through now) and its not a nice experience
I was driving last night when a Taxi Driver pulled out on me at a roundabout, performed an emergency stop and he gave a timid wave... some peoples driving really does scare me!
