I've just robbed a petrol station!
Well at least it felt like it ! 60L of fuel for just over £40.00, do I like that!

Nearly 48.
After a few months it went to just over a pound a gallon which buggered the pumps up as they only went up to a pound!!
That was about 34 years ago.

33p a gallon when i worked in my fathers filling station circa 1970. I was in primary school and helped out rather than do homework.

Its frightening how much its gone up!!
I can remember the outrage when it went up to over a £1 a gallon.
Every friday a guy would come in and i'd fill both tanks of his Jag for less than a tenner!!
