Can also recommend for Securfix. Had 50% security tinted film all round & sunstrip for £225. Good job done. Have used Pentagon in past & paid much more for the same quality of workmanship!

I've used Pentagon and they were good, but they've just quoted me over £600 for a Grand Cherokee which seems a lot !

Yes please - mail me the number.

Might be worth checkin the premium hike with your insurers before getting it done, and getting their thumbs up for it as well.
I'm convinced if you tell them you've done something to the car it costs you more than if you enquire how much extra it will be if you DO get it done.

Paul

...and i'm still fightin with my insurers for a further 8grand because i had tinted windows and didn't tell them (before the accident). Fingers crossed the Ombudsman rules innocent non-disclosure.

I dont bother telling them with things like this, as they only want to know about things which increase the value of the car so they can amend the payout, and things which affect the performance.

Adam

Surely you're kidding?
After my crash, they inspected my car and claimed had i told them about the tints, my premium would have increased by around £300 so they gave me a proportional payout of 72%

Now i tell them everything down to floormats and mudflaps (in my most facaetious voice)

Erm, what the hell is so valuable/performance enhancing that it would justify a hike of 300 quid?

Baffled, er no Ralf
