Default Hi after some help with a 1994 RA

I have recently bought a 1993/4 sti type RA. The problem i have is when im on light throttle i have hesitation/spluttering but once you raise the revs slightly it clears?

i have done new plugs and service today. The car is standard as far as i know bar an airfilter

thanks

I would check the fuelling side of things. Fuel pump, injectors etc.

is there a common fault to look for? and do you know the resistance i should expect from the fuel pump and injectors?

I'm not sure on resistance but I would eliminate the obvious things first. If the fuel pump is the original it may be a little tired. Likewise the injectors may need a clean.

yeah my plan was to get the injectors out and give them a clean are they easy to remove? and are the RA fuel pumps the same as normal STI's?

Also would a tired fuel cause me starting problems when its cold?

Injector removal is fairly straightforward. The fuel pump is the same in the STI/RA AFAIK. Try posting in the general technical section, you might get some more pointers in there.
