down point got 77k but full comprehnsive history.
Anything i should look out for known faults if it was a hawk i would know lol I spend so much money on the wrx to make it an sti power and really should have just bought the sti in the first place
Just really want an sti and at the money cant go wrong, so all advice will be greatly received

mileage is ok if serviced regular,
check the clutch operation,
drive car in sixth and put your foot down and when the turbo spools up make sure the clutch doesnt slip.
also check for recent cambelt service.
other than that check the usual signs of abuse on cars, panel gaps etc

The dreaded rear knocking shocks I can tell you as I know first hand. Sounds like something is rolling around in the boot when driving at low speed on a bumpy surface.

The knocking rear shocks can be fixed easily. My local Scooby specialist stripped mine and regreased them
The grease that KYB used was this yellow stuff and when we scraped it out you could clearly see it had lost all of its elasticity. If you have some between your thumb and forefinger and open them the grease just breaks, no stretching at all.
Since the new grease has gone in the problem has gone away and if you use decent grease that is spec'd for the job then it will be a one time fix.
