Default Walbro V HRC fuel pump ??

Walbro Versus HRC fuel pump ?? in the market for a new uprated fuel pump for the blobeye wrx, the Walbro is obviously hugely popular amongst the scooby crowd but just wonder what folk make off the HRC fuel pumps ?? seem very competivly priced and come with a two year warranty.

Had a HRC on my WRX and was told that it's quieter than the Walbro. You get the usual priming noise when you turn the key, after that virtually no noise at all!

Well worth it and much better pricewise.

Difference is only flow rate and they're all straight swap for OE pump.

Everything is there for fitting/installation.

More LPH mate between them, the more BHP you run the higher the LPH should be

Okay cheers, they guy I plan to buy them off has two versions - the 255lph and the 290lph, take it the 255lph is more than enough to cope with blob wrx with decat / remap ??

reading an ebay advert earlier on tonight did notice this hence my question on anything else required re fitting ??

quote " When using the HRC High Pressure 255lph (Walbro equivalent GSS341 / GSS342) Fuel Pump, I recommend if possible, installing a Fuel Regulator to maintain desired fuel pressure "

Fuel regulator ?? please advise if required for my particular set up ??

Hi there

255lph will cope with 400-450bhp without the problem and without the Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR)..

This is recommended if you are going for high bhp and high boost, what is not your case.

Here JAutos selling HRC fuel pumps for good money
