Default Thought I would say hello.

Thought I should say hello before posting.

I'm James from Worcestershire.

I have just brought (about 6weeks ago) a 2003 WRX Impreza SL.

It came about as the Mrs wanted something a bit sportier than her Mondeo TDCI, so we looked about and brought an Octavia VRS. Nice car but she could not get on with it. The octavia's sporty ride just meant rock hard suspension.

So after 3weeks we sold it and went on the hunt again. We decided on a scooby WRX and looked at a few, missed a few and then found a 2003 silver WRX, 70k on the clock.

Full Subaru service history, 2 owners, mint condition and from a nice area, nice set up and up for sale as the vendor had brought a porsche so it all just felt right.

6weeks on and the Mrs is using the My Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7V8 and I am using the Scooby.

Really pleased and impressed so far.

Well I have always had a 4x4 since passing my test as I have horses and a caravan :

Landy Defender 90
Toyota Hilux
Mitsubishi Warrior
Isuzu Trooper
Isuzu Rodeo
Jeep GC V8

But along side those I / Mrs had:

Seat Leon FR
BMW 320
BMW 120
Ford Mondeo

I sold last year a Mazda MX5 MK1 that I had turbo'd all singing and dancing 240BHP and less than 900kg. Still miss it but the Scooby is a decent compromise or power and practicality.
