Inovit GTOs, 18x9.5 et38 +35mm spacer (so final et is 3).
225/40/18 tyres.
Arches rolled and flared (then smacked with a large hammer to fine tune it...)
I can still get my fingers in the gap (just), any lower and it rubs too much.
Just over -5 degrees camber:
macmac, get that thing lowered! It looks ridiculous up there!

"ridiculous" is a bit harsh as your the first negative comments ive got , sure she's a wee bit high
my car has not yet had geo a setup/ride height adjustment , but my spin across the mountain pass lets me know i can drive her on (no rubbing), which i doubt you could manage with those crooked rears and lift your crooked chin mate ,its scraping of the pavement ! lol
let the banter begin !!
nice lookin bug but its more "show than go" i reckon , i like to have both !

Close-up of the flare (ignore the state of the wheels, I can't park for s**t...):
One of the rears has done nearly 10k miles (puncture killed the other) and there's probably ~1mm or so difference between the inside and outside edges.

Unless it's racing off-road, pretty much any racecar will be lowered to lower the COG, have negative camber to aid grip when cornering and have wide wheels to aid grip in a straight line
Yeah, that's what we though when we planned the trip, turns out the roads are absolutely atrocious, I'll never complain about UK roads again after having to drive through France and Belgium!
The fronts squeak a little on full lock and the rears rub if I sling it round tight corners at speed, nothing I can't live with though :]

Not having a go (I have an RB5 with the standard wheels and usual 215/40-17 tyres) but are these setups legal with that much rim poking outside the arches? I assume they go through the MOT ok? Also the tyres look mega stretched, it's a wonder the bead stays put?

2006 UK STi with 18x9.5 ET30 Rota Grid Drifts wrapped in 265/35/18 rubber.
Coilovers, cut the original arches out completely and hacked away all the other unecessary crap and then fitted a set of ABW wheel arch extensions....no spacers required!
Nothing to it!

Bit of a grey area on the legality really, there's nothing specifically illegal about it, but give a copper in a bad mood a week or so to scour the manuals and I'm sure he could cobble together some conveluted reason to fine you, but then the same could be said for most cars on the road. Certainly nowhere near as illegal as say, removing cats...
MOT is the same, there's nothing in the manuals that say anything about it.
This amount of stetch is nothing compared to what can be achieved, there's a few guys, mostly Dubbers, that do take the p**s though, even going so far as having to glue the tyres on because they're stretched to far.
Pics! 9.5s with arch extensions sounds like you're got major sink going on!
