Hi i have a stabdard 2007 impreza wrx sti 2.5 and it does not have the classix burble noise that subarus have, i understand that subaru fitted equal length headers on this vehicle hence the missing burble noise, i really want that noise back like it was on my older subaru, can i buy a back box that will make that noise? or is unequal lenght headers available for my car?

I have the Afterburner catback from scooby world fitted to mine which sounds brilliant and gives that nice burble noise.

The 2.5 has uneven length headers, if you have/had ever heard a standard classic with the peashooter backbox on then you would wonder exactly where the burble was too as it doesnt do it either, you need to change the exhaust (centre section and backbox) to gain the burble, the rest is a myth that scoobs do this out of the box.

Just remember to check that the back box is the straight exit one and not the angled one, i'm led to believe that the angled one would foul on your rear diffuser.

If you didn't want the large bore back box you could always go for a prodrive back box with an afterburner de-resonated centre section. These come up for sale on quite a regular basis both on here and on fleabay.
