Blown bottom ends - What are they worth?
One of my mates has got 5 or 6 Bottom ends with rattling bearings, they are all open deck blocks. Can anyone tell me what they are worth and does anyone know of anyone that buys them to rebuild?

i doubt theres much demand for open blocks, most seem to want the closed deck blocks for big power builds

Worthless to be honest, it'd cost more than it's worth to repair them and they aren't worth it in bits like a closed deck block.

For someone who's put a rod out of their existing block its worth a few bob, Not mega bucks of course, but it IS worth something.
Basically depends on if its spun a main bearing or not (doubtful - usually throws a rod before the mains let go).

If i were to post them up for say £80 each, does that sound reasonable?

£80 to have your bottom end blown?
Doesnt' sound too bad, but I've never paid for it myself so not sure how that compares to the market rate.
