It used to be such a good program. I wonder what the viewing figures are now compared to when Clarkson et al were in their prime?
Now its rubbish the figures are probably better..dumbing down and all that

I think they're running short of cash as every week there's a feature filmed in their office!
It has to be said the show is now a pile of p**s, I only watch it for VBH

You are not alone - I can't see what all the fuss is about - I think the fact that a woman that understands (if not actually capable of) how to drive fast and properly (and now rides a bike as well) turns some blokes on but this same fact clouds their judgement....
How many of you VBH supporters can honestly say that you'd fancy her if she couldn't drive/wasn't into driving etc... ????
Matt.
(Flame Suit On so bring it on... )

I remember trying a few of the supermarkets for a classic model. After most oif them laughed at me, 1 did say he had had 1 once.

Top Gear is definately bobbins.
About 15mins on that cone guy and a ten minute build up to tell us that there is a place called a- wait for it- CAR SUPERMARKET!! Congratulations on your discovery Top Gear, and thank you for sharing it with us.
Once again, Tiff's segment was the only one worth watching.
As for VBH, she may have a sexy voice, but would you really want her for a girlfriend? You know she's gonna take your P&J straight onto the nearest TESCO's car park and start stretching the handbrake cable, which is as far as her driving talents extend. I'm with mutant mat; She is dog rough, and I wouldn't do it with 'Letdowns' while 'Robski' is pushing!
Top Gear- Here today, 'Cone' Tomorrow

Cack, as usual, I thought. Top Gear went **** up when all the decent presenters left and they started making a TV version of Car/What Car? Grrrr... why aren't there any decent car programmes on TV any more?
The emphasis on *enjoying* driving *desirable* cars seems to have gone out the window - probably because of all the sad barstewards who wrote to the BBC complaining about Tiff/Clarkson/VBH blasting around "setting a bad example and encouraging speeding".
If Top Gear was a thread on this BBS, it would be quickly moved into the muppet forum ;-))
As for the new presenters:
* Clarkson replacement = Jason Barlow (failed Drivel presenter - what does that say?!!) is sh*te and completely unfunny.
* Quentin replacement = Nameless tw*t who did the Jag/A8 feature last night. This bloke is a complete **** - you'd think he'd have some self respect, but he seems quite happy driving round in Suzuki Wagon Rs (wendyhouse on wheels, as Clarkson would say) and the like.
Scoobynet TV anyone??
Rant over!
Christian

Christian,
Don't hold back mate, you just say what you feel
Luckily I taped it and so could FF through the cone section "where are the cars??!" I shout to my brother who was round for a PSX fest.
VBH. Is it me or did she look like a kid driving that VW? Could hardly see over the steering wheel...
