My wife has just driven my my97 Impreza Turbo for the first time, and she is not happy. Her main complaint is not being able to see the end of the bonnet as the seat is too low. The bucket seats do not adjust up and down and are pretty low (I'm 6 foot 4, so not so much of a problem!). What alternatives do I have rather than giving her a booster cushion? I understand that Prodrive do fully adjustable electric seats?

Any info, suggestions or prices would be much appreciated.
(and would help save me from an ear bashing!)

try finding a 99-00 seat, mine has adjustable ride height, only about 6 inch or so, but may help.

maybe a height adjustable seat from the later model will bolt in, my MY00 has height adjustable seats too but im also 6'4" so ive never really checked... have alook at legacys or forsters a 2nd hand pair of front seats would be fairly cheap too, recaro do an electric seat which im sure is cheaper than the prodrive option...

P.S. I'm a short **** and have adjustable seat, but I have it on its lowest setting. If she drives it a bit more she should get used to the bonnet without having to see it.

My Mrs is 5ft 4, she uses the adjustable seat in my 00 model, so advise getting one of these from a breakers or somewhere... They bolt in the same place as the old recaros on the old models so I've been told...

Why does she need to see the bonnet? If she's trying to park, when she can't see the other car's boot, she's close enough!

Are you supposed to se the front of the bonnet? I can't see mine either. I'm 6' tall as well so no exactly a shortass. I know where it is though so that's good enough for me.
