About to have £200.00 extracted for body treatment. Do other manufacturers do this? Shouldn't they make it last in the first place. Seems a bit wrong to me.

Nah, you're OK, thanks for the offer. Spoke with the garage today whist booking it in.

Thumbs up

I have just asked my dealer to put in a claim for me regarding my MY01 paintwork

He doesn't seem very hopeful but I will not let this one go

The paintwork is aweful and should be rectified

Hi Phil - what's the problem with it? I've a MY02 and, after just 1600 miles, I've a few stone chips on the bonnet, but otherwise v good.

More Chips than my local chip shop

My paint shop reckons the paintwork is poor but not unusual for Subaru

Is it mainly the bonnet Phil? Could it be the fact that it's aluminium?

Phil,

Dave T-S reckons you must be driving too close to the car in front! I don't subscribe to this view and think the paintwork is a bit weak.

Just wondering what effect a Wax Wizard treatment would have - anybody got any experience?

£200 sounds a bit pricey. I think I got the annual bodywork service, 12month/15000ml service and a set of new number plates for <£300

Whether I have remembered correctly or not the quotes from different dealers varied a lot for the body service so you might just want to check a couple of other places first.
